Syrian refugees at Zaatari camp in Jordan are working with scientists from the University of Sheffield and the UN Refugee Company to form a methodology to develop healthy, fresh food with nothing nevertheless water and standard mattress foam.
These ‘recycled gardens’ use the mattresses in web content online of the soil, which solves two issues in a single: It reuses the mountain of plastic mattresses that possess piled up in the camp and it enables everybody to develop fresh food in a crowded, desert atmosphere.
