UK meat exports delayed for days as a consequence of unique Brexit customs guidelines – BBC Recordsdata

British meat exports are facing lengthy delays, sometime for days, as a consequence of extra customs tests and paperwork after the tip of the Brexit transition interval.

The meat producers’ alternate body says exports are at loyal 25% of identical previous volumes for the time of one year. They are saying the unique guidelines are “no longer match for cause”.

The UK exports £15 billion price of food and drink to the EU yearly. A third of it’s perishable meat, fish and unusual save.
